Philip knew that with increasing volumes of product being shipped, the only viable solution to these challenges would be a vertical panel saw. "I researched the market," he recalled, "Looking at the 'big names' I wasn't, to be honest, impressed with their customer service, or their prices. On top of that, the packing workshop is fairly tight on space, and most of these machines needed far too much floor space."

Attractive prices, helpful staff
On talking to UK-based Sagetech Philip was rather more impressed. "The prices were far more attractive, despite the fact that their Koolkut saws are evidently designed and built to high standards. I also found the Sagetech staff extremely helpful and knowledgeable: they invited me to see the saw in action which I found very useful as I decided which machine was best for us."
