"With the business growing and new customers coming on board, we needed a way of speeding up the cutting process and making it more accurate," explained Steve Waite, Partner at Sterling Art Services. "We ran some web searches to find out about the options open to us, and came across Sagetech's website, www.sagetech.co.uk."

Competitive and compact
Sagetech's Koolkut range of space-saving, economically-priced vertical panel saws caught Steve's eye. "They were most competitively priced and impressively compact in operation," Steve noted. With limited space available in their Slough, Berkshire premises, a small operating footprint was high on the list of priorities.

Sterling Art Services' Koolkut KK21S was installed early in 2006. The machine, one of a wide range available from Sagetech, can cut sheets of up to 3.1m x 2.1m, horizontally, vertically and diagonally, to the full length and breadth of the sheet. The unit, which can also perform plunge and bevel cuts, runs on a standard 13A single-phase supply.
