When Waterlooville-based flag and sign specialist Hampshire Flag needed a better way to cut Foamex, Correx, Dibond and acrylics, Sagetech's Koolkut range proved ideal in all respects.

Established in 1981, Hampshire Flag provides flag and sign making services for a wide variety of businesses and other organisations across the UK, often acting as a subcontractor for sign companies.

Among other materials, the company uses large amounts of Foamex and for many years cut this on a Javelin cutter. With the company growing and workloads becoming heavier, Managing Director Graham Wilkinson was keen to streamline the cutting process, and began looking into tools that would help achieve this.

Graham discovered Hampshire-based Sagetech' Koolkut range of vertical panel saws in the signmaking trade press and was immediately impressed with the compact size of the saws, as well as their eye-catching prices.
