Fast and accurate cutting
Fundamental to the process is the fast and accurate cutting of MDF and laminate, the main materials involved. For many years, the company used a bed saw for all sheet material cutting. As with most table saws, operating the bed saw was a two-man job for all but the smallest work-pieces.

"The two-man operation issue was important, because it slowed us down," explained Daniel Chippendale, Director. "I knew that with a suitable wall saw, we could get things done much more quickly."

While one-man operation was a key requirement, a sensible price was important too. As Daniel noted, "You can spend silly money on wall saws." He rang around a number of suppliers, including Sagetech, specialists in economically-priced space-saving vertical panel saws.
