Leeds-based Chippendale builders moved their sheet material cutting from a bed saw to a new Sagetech Koolkut KK16 vertical panel saw in early 2008, speeding their operation and cutting costs.

Chippendale Builders was launched in the 1970s, working on extensions and other home improvements. In recent years, the company has increasingly focused on shopfitting, which today represents the majority of its trade.

A key part of virtually every job is the design, build and installation of bars, counters, shelving and other fitted units. The furniture is built at the company's Leeds workshop, and then taken to the customer's site for fitting.
