Self-employed joiner John Caraffi found he faced something of a challenge when looking for a panel saw for his workshop in Kingston-upon-Thames. He found that the only machine sensibly priced and compact enough (his workshop lacks the space for a table saw) with the capabilities and accuracy he needed, was Sagetech's KoolKut vertical panel saw.

John knew from the outset that a vertical panel saw would be the way to go, but quickly found there were a large number of machines on the market to choose from.

Many were simply too expensive. "Even reconditioned units were coming out at silly prices," he observed.
