There is no need to.
The backing slats on Koolkut saws are made from low-cost, standard, readily available 18mm MDF. When the slats have deteriorated beyond an acceptable level they are easy and inexpensive to replace, without any need to resort to your supplier. Careful setting of the depth of cut will ensure the slats last for a very long time.
The fact that the backing slats are made of MDF also means it is easy to pin on a backing board when cutting thin sheets, creating a large, flat supporting surface. (Click here for more details on this.)
